Welcome to the Soap Lab! Here’s a little taste of the our space, but be sure to check it out in person too.
Come step into our space next Sunday June 22nd at Beam & Anchor’s official Grand Opening from 1-6pm. Browse the entire building, from the main retail space to our studios above. There will shopping aplenty, drinks from the local New Deal Distillery, and all of us in-house makers will be on hand to introduce Portland to this new space. It’s finally lavender season in Oregon. This weekend we spent our afternoons of R&D harvesting lavender buds and enjoying the misty view of rural Oregon farmland.
Capturing Portland through scent has been a main focus of our Soap Lab. It led us to the natural ingredients we use, and opened us to the endless possibilities of Oregon environments. Our Tanner Goods soaps reflect this diversity of Oregon, from the high desert scents of the Upland soap, to the lush forest scents of the Wildwood soap. Try them out, exclusively online and in the downtown Tanner Goods shop.
